Nanor Masks

Orfit Nanor Masks blend small nanoparticles into the material to establish an ultra-rigid internal structure that allows a very strong mask with a thickness of only 1.6mm to be created.

Nanor provides effective immobilization in radiation therapy by creating a fixation force, falling in place over the patient.

Nanor is the thinnest thermoplastic material on the market. Thanks to the use of nanotechnology, a very thin and at the same time stable mask can be created. Because the mask is thin, it falls in place over the patient on its own without having to do a lot of moulding. This composite mask fits like a fine glove, taking exactly the shape of the head, neck and shoulders.

Nanor Masks

Nanor is an entirely new thermoplastic material based on Nano-technology. After many years of research, our R&D Team succeeded in making a composite material that dramatically increases the mechanical properties of Efficast and that makes the material more performing in terms of bending stiffness. This patented technology allows creating a very thin mask that is at the same time stable and extremely comfortable for the patient thanks to its very low shrinkage. As such, it fulfils the two most important criteria for an effective immobilization mask in radiation therapy.
