Winthrop Wong
DIRECTOR/PHARMACIST
Winthrop lived and worked in Australia for 10 years and has since returned to Singapore and established a successful pharmaceutical business as a second-generation pharmacist. He deals with all kinds of pharmaceutical products including surgical orthopaedic implants, biologics, radiation oncology products, respiratory products, disposables and innovative eyedrops. His expertise also includes surgical masks, gloves and vitamins that are used in many major hospitals. He often trains different medical professionals including doctors, nurses and pharmacists on various medical topics.
Geraldine Lim
DIRECTOR
Geraldine has spent over 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry with skillsets honed in sales, marketing, consumer healthcare and strategic planning. She manages the general management of the company from marketing, finances, to recruiting key talents and is also instrument in launching new and innovative products through extensive R&D. She also has vast experience in OTC, consumer products and keeps abreast with the ever evolving technological advancements in digital marketing, including Google, Facebook advertising, e-commerce platforms, social media management and more.
Ruth Wong
DIRECTOR/FOUNDER
Ruth founded Wellchem Pharmaceuticals in 1975 with her late husband, Frederick Wong. Pioneers in the Singapore pharmaceutical industry, Ruth has steadfastly built a strong and solid reputation amongst international wholesalers and distributors in the pharmaceutical industry, sourcing for hard-to-find medicines and products and making them available in countries where these specialised medications are needed.
Tan Siew Siew
HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Siew Siew leads a diverse team that specializes in biologics, general medicine, aesthetics and ophthalmology. A self-motivated and highly industrious leader who has managed many major portfolios in her 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Siew Siew is a highly-regarded and well-respected professional. A notably mature, empathetic, and dependable leader, Siew Siew is an inspiration to her colleagues with her inner drive and consistently recognizes and cultivates the potential in others to maximize productivity.
Joleen Siew
HEAD OF MARKETING
Joleen heads up the marketing division and takes charge of the strategic development of our proprietary brands. With over 20 years of experience managing prominent consumer brands in the region, Joleen constantly brings new perspectives to up the ante and brings continuous growth to the consumer business. Always with a ready smile and infectious laughter, Joleen is a highly adaptable, creative, and dynamic soul who brings joy, gusto and progress into everything she does.

Beebee, one of the earliest staff of the company has witnessed the company grow from strength to strength for over two decades now. A diligent, consistent and amicable individual, Beebee heads the finance and human resources department of the company. With a good head over the shoulders and heart at the right place, Beebee puts into place solid structures and administrative backbones to make new businesses a reality.

Jessica leads the team in one of the most challenging and purposeful specialties of the business; orthopaedics – a specialty that requires very nimble thinking on the feet, and hearts of steel. Jessica leads her team with pride, integrity and steadfastness. Having led sales teams of various portfolios for over 20 years, Jessica is able to maximize results by stimulating personal and group excellence. An achiever by nature, Jessica has also spearheaded very meaningful projects, working closely with major cancer centres in providing world-class, leading thermoplastic innovations, to better treat patients undergoing radiation oncology.

Jim, a research biochemist by training, with 20 years of pharmaceutical experience under his belt, leads the business development team in spearheading global market expansion of our proprietary products. Instrumental in forging strategic business liaisons with partners in various parts of Asia, Jim is always open to new ideas and is an adept problem-solver who always brings something new to the plate. Resourceful, innovative and a strong team player, Jim plays a vital role in the expansion of our global business.

Katty is a personable and highly responsible professional with over 20 years of proven expertise and a stellar reputation in Sales Management, bringing invaluable experience to the orthopaedics team. Always ready to support her team of sales specialists, her gentle and selfless nature has earned her the respect of both colleagues and doctors. Before joining Wellchem in 2019, her impressive portfolio spans respiratory and vaccination products, as well as gynaecology solutions.

With more than 30 years of experience in managing pharmaceutical sales and marketing teams, Lisa has honed her expertise across a range of therapy areas, driving strategic growth and fostering impactful collaborations across individuals of all ages. As the Corporate Strategy Development Lead, her responsibilities encompass Strategic Planning, Opportunity Assessment, and Stakeholder Management with external partners. Lisa’s ability to balance strategic leadership with warm compassion has made her an inspiring leader and a trusted mentor, driving both organisational success and community impact.

Esther brings over 30 years of extensive experience in the healthcare industry. She was the Commercial Head in the Pharmaceutical and Lab Diagnostics for more than 10 years with a multinational company. Her expertise spans across portfolios such as Gastroenterology, Respiratory, Women’s Health, Cardiovascular, Men’s Health, Paediatrics, Vaccines, Central Nervous System, Anti-diabetics, Antibiotics, and Antiviral products. Her wealth of knowledge and resilience have established her as a formidable presence in the pharmaceutical industry. As Business Unit Head at Wellchem, her experience and knowledge continue to drive success and innovation within the Sales and Marketing team.

Honed through years of performing on stage as an actress, Katherine possesses a jovial, creative and confident spirit which shines through in her communication and interactions with fellow associates.
